Warranty

a) SLP guarantees that the Products will be free of faults and shortcomings in construction, material and manufacture for a period of twenty four (24) months from putting the Product into operation but maximum thirty (30) months Ex Works delivery.

b) The guarantee is subject to the following conditions: (i) the Buyer has complied with its obligations in this agreement and in particular has made payment in full for the Products, (ii) the Buyer has not carried out any repair, alteration, process, operation or treatment to the Products without SLP's written consent, and (iii) the Buyer notifies SLP in writing of such fault or shortcoming no later than fourteen (14) days after the day the Buyer discovered or reasonably ought to have discovered the fault or shortcoming.

c) After the receipt of a claim in accordance with the foregoing, and approved by SLP, SLP will, at SLP's option, accept the return of the faulty Product and reimburse the Buyer an amount equal to the purchase price, or repair or replace the faulty Product.

d) SLP's responsibility for faults or shortcomings of delivered Products  is limited to the above. The Buyer is not entitled to any other remedies, than those set out above, in relation to faults or shortcomings.

Claims and Discrepancy Procedures

Acceptance of Goods

All shipped goods shall be inspected by the Customer as to quantity, number, weight and volume immediately upon arrival of each shipment. Any discrepancy in respect of quantity, number, weight and volume must be reported to SLP within 7 days after receipt of each shipment.

Discrepancy Report

You shall use the S 4-5-62 Discrepancy Report, found HERE or by contacting SLP to warranty@slp.se , to report any discrepancies found and the actions you wish us to take.

The handling of faulty deliveries or returns always involves a certain amount of expenditure both for you as our Customer and for SLP. Consequently we apply a minimum limit, a minimum value per order line, which will form the lower limit for the handling of a discrepancy. The limit applies for both parties and should be applied on both over- and short deliveries. We do however appreciate any information regarding discrepancies regardless of value in order to continuously work with quality improvements.The minimum limit for handling a discrepancy is currently fixed per order line at 50,00 SEK.

Complaints must be reported no later than 7 working days after receipt of the goods in your warehouse for report codes 10,12,13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 (See our Discrepancy Report).  For defective goods, report code 15, claims must be reported within the warranty period.

These boxes shown below in the Discrepancy Report are required to fill in in order to process the claim:

  • SLP Order No.

  • Code matching your claim (10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 or 21)

  • Description of claim
  • Suggestion of rectification
